You can use candles of appropriate colors in combination with many of the other materials listed in the practice pages. With a candle spell, you can start with a candle of the appropriate color but inscribe it with symbols of your own choice or numbers or runes. You can rub it down with the oil of your choice. You can roll it or press it with herbs and spices. You can use candles to represent people and all sorts of other things. They can be used for inspiration, invocation, representation of elements or deities, burning after being filled with energy, setting fire to a piece of parchment paper, and yes, even for light. The candle is one of the most powerful, versatile tools for magick. Use this knowledge well.
