PROTECTION SACHETS FOR THE HOME

This is a collection of fun and interesting lore regarding how to use herbs for protection in your home. (Um, it's not in place of locking your door. I find it to be a fun link to our old folk tales and our ancestors to do something traditional; it's a nice touch.)

All-purpose protection sachet:

Place these dried herbs in a piece of red or white cloth. Tie up the bundle with red yarn and hang it over the front door (or as close as possible), saying protective words and visualizing.

Anti-theft sachet:

Place these ingredients in a piece of white cloth, tie it up with white yarn and hang it prominently in your home, visualizing the sachet barring the entrance of theives.

Weather-protection sachet

Place these three items in a piece of white cloth. Tie it together with white yarn and hang it in the highest place in the house, or the chimney.
