I created this section to point out that Wicca or Witchcraft is a lifestyle as well as a religion. Wiccans don't just "act witchy" on the Sabbats and Esbats; they think of every celebration and every life event in the context of their beliefs. It is a very all-encompassing religion.

Usually a commemorative ritual will be made, or there will be some sort of symbol to honor special days. Creating rituals and doing things symbolically are really integral to the lifestyle. Other than being more ritualistic and symbolic than some or most other religions, Wiccans and Witches celebrate like nearly everyone else, with presents, decorations, and special food. Some of what they do is based on ancient customs and some of it is just as new as the latest fad. All that matters is that the celebration is personally fulfilling to all of the celebrators. :)
